Conference 2010
The SABISA component of Conference 2010 takes place from 12 to 15 September at Misty Hills outside Johannesburg.
The ISASA component of the Conference will be held on 11 and 12 September and the SAHISA and SABISA components will run concurrently from the evening of 12 September through to Wednesday morning, 15 September.
The ISASA componentof the conference will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre. However, this venue is not ideal for the collegiality so valued by SAHISA and SABISA members and consequently more suitable venues outside Johannesburg have been chosen for the SAHISA and SABISA components of the conference.
The SAHISA component of the Conference will be held at the Riverside Hotel on the Vaal River, and the SABISA component at Misty Hills, to the north of Johannesburg. Both of these venues are within an hour and fifteen minutes drive from the Sandton Convention Centre.
Registration and programme information will be made available early in 2010. The Conference will present valuable insights and excellent speakers, like Advocate Gilbert Marcus and Judge Mervyn King.
The Conference will provide opportunities for debate and interaction on the four key issues for ISASA and its members: promoting the value of independence; school financial sustainability; capacity enhancement and increasing transformation and diversity.
